Groupon has been in lot of talks since it filed the IPO papers to Securities and Exchange Commission in the beginning of June. There are lot of stories criticizing the IPO’s worth instead of $700 million revenues of the company.

Yesterday Facebook started promoting a new Deals Service which says “Deals on Facebook. Now Better With Friends”, a direct attack on Groupon, LivingSocial like services. Today company has taken one step forward and created a landing page for deals and also started pushing the story on user’s news feeds. The company is not leaving option for users to not being aware about the service.

Groupon is one of the fastest growing online business. Launched in 2008, Groupon grew swiftly expanding from a staff of a few dozen to 350 in just 18 months. They did not just increase the staff instead the company was estimated to be around $1 billion in just 16 months timeframe.
