As expected, Amazon just announced 7″ Android tablet called “Kindle Fire” at a press event in NYC. The tablet is basically an advance kindle which will run Android apps from Amazon Android App Store.

There has been multiple rumors in the past about Amazon setting the stage for Android tablet after its launch of Android AppStore.
