Yesterday we told you that Google is acquiring Groupon for $2.5 billion. Maybe some of the details are not accurate as you all know Yahoo previuosly tried buy groupon for $3+ billion and the company denied saying they are worth much more then that.

Vatornews, a new blog recently published the news that Google has already bought Groupon for $2.5 billion. While we cannot comment on the credibility of the source, VatorNews claims that an unnamed insider that is a reliable source confirmed the acquisition.
