Few weeks back we saw a large scale over-the-air rollout of Android 2.2 (aka Froyo) to the Google Nexus One. Now comes the turn for HTC Desire, the next desired phone to have the latest Google Android operating system.
The update bring in lot of new feature to the smartphone which includes sync with iTunes using HTC Sync, ability to record HD video at 720p, improved caller ID and a revamped keyboard.

Dell still won’t say when it will actually start selling and shipping the Streak in the US, but it did clear up a bit of confusion. The United States landing of Dell smartphones is about to commence at AT&T said Dell Spokeswoman. She also said yesterday that the phone will not be launching in July as previously thought.

There are latest rounds of rumors on the web about T-mobile to start selling iPhones in USA as early as end of this summer. The AT&T exclusivity of the iPhone in the United States is ground for numerous rumors of other carriers getting the iPhone. Verizon iPhone rumors are by far dominating.

It was just six months back when Google launched its online phone store carrying Nexus One with locked as well as unlocked version. The audacious experiment it represented was a radical break from the existing model of how consumers buy phones. It failed; we don’t want a radical break. Samsung Captivate (Galaxy S) which has had a tremendous success worldwide is now available in US at AT&T store near you. The phone was set to be launched in US on Sunday, July 18, 2010 but according to some sources and AT&T stores the handset is available now. Even Amazon allows you to buy the phone in certain zip codes.
