Samsung to Launch Galaxy S II in US on Aug 29th

After tons of rumors and reports about Galaxy S II now we have date about when Samsung Galaxy S II is coming to United States.

Samsung has just sent out invites for a “major product announcement” on Monday, August 29th in New York City. Although the announcement doesn’t specifically mentions anything about the launch of the second version of the Flashship device – Galaxy S II, but it does say II in bold roman letters at the bottom of the invite, which is a clear evident that we are not not very far from this awesome device.

We already know that the device will have unique name on each of top 4 US Carriers, I will be called Samsung Attain on AT&T, Function on Verizon and Samsung Within on Sprint Network. Now what we need to see if how much does the phone gets changed for each service provider. Will it get two models including the one with the Qwerty Keyboard for AT&T as we reported earlier or it will be a sequel to Captivate.

More details and previous posts about the device can be checked here
