Today, YouTube has announced on the Official blog that people can now upload videos longer than 15 minutes.
Few months back YouTube increased the limit of uploading videos from 10 minutes to 15 minutes, and now for some lucky users(who have complied with the Community Guidelines and copyright rules), it ever goes further. While there is no statement of exactly how high will they go. YouTube Official blog post says:
Starting today, we’ll begin allowing selected users with a history of complying with the YouTube Community Guidelines and our copyright rules to upload videos that are longer than 15 minutes.
YouTube team for their continued efforts to make YouTube a better experience. The newly extended limit looks like a result of advances in the video-sharing site’s copyright tools(YouTube’s Content ID system), that can quickly flag copyrighted videos thanks to some 1000 or so partners.
It’s great news for the Video stars of today and tomorrow as well. Kudos to Google.
