Facebook Share Button Disappeared from Some Websites Including YouTube [Updated]

Facebook Share button has suddenly disappeared from various websites. Some users are in panic as they are assuming that the websites have removed the share button. One such website is YouTube which had the share button an hour back and is not present any more.

Our Website buzzingup.com is also a victim of this issue which seems like it is from Facebook itself as we have code directly from http://developers.facebook.com/docs/share and it doesn’t work.

We are trying to reach facebook, and will update about this issue as soon as we hear anything from the Social networking company.

Update 1(21:48 EST) : We are still waiting to hear back from Facebook.
Update 2(03:20 EST) : The problem is due to a facebook javascript error
Update 3(09:20 EST) : The problem has been fixed now, although it took long time for facebook to fix it.

    Oh, God NO! WHY?!! Remember when sharing used to be talking about something? Phones had cords? Suitcases didn’t have wheels and draghandles?

    Who am I kidding? I just tried to share a vidja on the bacefook and me googledygoogled to see why not it for to working share.

    Why do you want to wait, use your url and try to add it to facebook link, atleast you won’t have to wait to share

    Why so angry, fella? I guess it’s hard to flip clubs socially if you can’t share vidjas of doing such activities.

    Anyone who used the FB share script will not see it. All sites using FB’s generated script no longer work. Also Facebook’s Share page redirects to the Like page now. http://www.facebook.com/share/

    it’s because there is a script error: FB.isSecure is not a function
    inside http://static.ak.fbcdn.net/connect.php/js/FB.Share

    Problem still remains on my iPad 3 . There is no share to Facebook option as of 11:31pm on 05.16.12
